Our Countryside Vision in Indian Craft

Our Countryside Vision in Indian Craft

There’s something so special about women who make the everyday look beautiful, the ones who show up for work, friends, and themselves, in ways that feel real and effortless. Pretty Women Era, our latest collection, was born from that thought.

From the start, we knew we didn’t want anything overly curated. We wanted romance, softness, and intention, pieces that felt lived in, not staged. When we imagined what our community would wear, not just for an occasion, but through every little moment leading up to it, Odhanon naturally became part of that story.

This collection may draw from the charm of the past, but it was built for today’s rhythm. We know life moves fast, mornings blur into evenings, and routines leave little room for your celebration. While Pretty Women Era carries hints of old-world grace and femininity, it never compromises on effortless, chic style. Every silhouette and every detail was made to keep up, whether you’re working, wandering, or just winding down.

At the heart of the collection are pieces inspired by classic silhouettes, reimagined for today: corset skirts with structured elegance, coord sets with timeless versatility, asymmetrical dresses that play with movement, and fit-and-flare corset dresses that recall vintage charm. Even the bust corsets, tops, and corset belts, every piece is designed to move with you, letting you style it for workdays, weekend strolls, or special occasions. Here, old-world inspiration meets functionality, letting beauty and ease coexist in every outfit.

Pretty Women Era celebrates the blend of tradition and modernity. Hand block-printed cotton dresses, structured corsets, and flared skirts merge Indian craft with contemporary Western silhouettes. Our hand block-printed pieces are brought to life through the traditional Sanganeri process, a craft that carries 500 years of artistry and patience. The tiny overlaps, colour nuances, and irregularities are the mark of a human hand at work, making each Odhanon piece intimate, artisanal, and truly one of a kind.

And when we finally began designing the Pretty Women Era, we kept coming back to one question: how can clothes become an extension of that handcraft? How can “pretty” be something that belongs to everyone who wears Odhanon, in their own way?

For the campaign, we defined a theme that would fully embody the spirit of the collection: countryside romance, infused with cosy, vintage aesthetics that evoke warmth, charm, and nostalgia. Every element, from the shoot location and props to the styling details and layering of outfits,  was chosen to feel like a natural extension of this world, making the visuals themselves part of the story. (You’ve probably seen this come alive on our Instagram, but if not, go check it out. We know you’ll love it ;)

But it wasn’t just about creating beautiful imagery. We wanted the campaign to do something more: to spark memories, evoke feelings, and transport anyone who experienced it back to their own cherished moments. Through Pretty Women Era content, we hoped our community could pause, reflect, and reconnect with the small, meaningful moments that make life feel rich, turning the campaign into more than a showcase of clothes, but a starting point for their own memory lane.

For us, this collection is a love letter to the women who inspire us, to the ones who chase dreams, run errands, make art, and hold space for others. Pretty Women Era celebrates all of it: the effort, the ease, and the in-between moments that make you, you.

And while this era is a gentle reminder to embrace your own version of pretty, the next one hints at softness, self-care, and playful moments, just around the corner ;)
